We grow a variety of mixed vegetables to meet the needs of our kitchen
and dining hall, which serves more than 400 meals each day to staff
and guests. We currently have approximately 1/4 acres of raised-bed
gardens with convenient water for irrigation. We have followed organic
practices for at least 15 years, and our soil is rich in organic matter,
fertile, and well-drained. Additional opportunities exist for expanding
the garden size and constructing a greenhouse to lengthen the growing season.
The ideal candidate will be self-directed, energetic, flexible and
responsible, with at least two years of experience in organic mixed
vegetable production (including at least one apprenticeship), and
available to work full-time from May 15 through September 30. We
offer compensation of $600 per month, full room and board, a rich
dynamic social and educational atmosphere, and lots of personal
appreciation from satisfied cooks and guests.

The World Fellowship Center is located 7 miles south of Conway,
New Hampshire in the White Mountains. The Center has been in
operation since 1941. It offers 452 acres of forest with nature
trails, frontage on a mountain lake, and magnificent views of
Mt. Chocorua. Our staff of 30 includes a large group of
international university students. As many as
140 guests are in attendance on a given day.
Programs highlight major issues of politics and economics,
as well as cultural offerings - music, photography, poetry,
yoga, tai chi, films and nature programs - for staff and
guests alike. Recreation on the premises includes swimming,
boating, canoeing, and fishing in a mountain lake; ping pong,
volleyball, basketball and soccer; walking WF nature trails.
Great hiking nearby in the White Mountains. Meals are mostly
vegetarian, with many of the vegetables being provided by our
two organic gardens. The water from our deep artesian well
is the best you'll find. All our buildings are smoke-free.
We prefer to hire non-smokers. In addition, as World Fellowship

intoxicated while on site and to helping maintain a safe and
friendly family atmosphere.
